Coach Marc

Coach Marc has a passion for teaching the game. For the past five years Marc has been coaching his nine year old daughter in softball and come this spring will begin coaching his five year old son in his first year of tee ball.
He has also spent time coaching older boys in the inner city RBI program through the Los Angeles Angels and sponsored by Major League Baseball.
He focuses on developing competitive athletes by instilling a long lasting love of the game, developing a strong practice routine and stressing the importance of solid fundamentals. His goal is for each hitter to develop and maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic, providing a path to maximize their potential.
At Diamond Athletics our goal is to provide a productive environment by preaching the importance of a positive attitude, leadership skills and building a positive work ethic. We break down each individuals swing, identify areas in need of improvement and focus on how to correct those areas through specific drills and exercises.
All hitters are not the same and we are firm believers that one size does NOT fit all when it comes to coaching. We work with all ages, and customize the lessons to fit the specific needs of each individual. We watch video so they can see first hand what we are working on and also where they have made progress. Hitting can be overwhelming sometimes so we concentrate on having a strong mental approach by talking with them, answering any questions they may have and making sure they know “why” we are doing a specific drill or exercise.
